Frequently asked Questions

Our many years in the business has given us insight to what works well where; whether your pod be for private use, or the beginning of a glamping business. If we haven't answered your questions below please contact us.

Once you have confirmed you are interested in one of our products, we will be in touch to complete a telephone consultation with you and/or invite you to the workshop, dependant on your situation.

Following this, you will be provided with your drawing plans and quote. During this process, we would want to discuss when you would expect to have your pod delivered and will slot your order into the calendar, obviously the more pods ordered the longer the lead time and in those instances, we usually deliver over a period of time, maybe two pods and then another to follow.

Our lead times change daily, therefore we strongly advise customers to book early to avoid disappointment.

We are able to customise your pod to your requirements; from the measurements of your pod down to the decorative finishes like paint colours and door knobs.

As standard we have a selection of 3 paint colours for kitchen units, and a selection of hardware, if you would like a specific individual colour or hardware that isn't in our range we can accommodate that and discuss during the quoting.

Customisations can incur additional costs.

We have some great contacts who can help assist you in the planning process, if you so wish. With regards to preparing your land to place the pod on, we would recommend a 6-inch concrete slab.

We advise our customers to speak with their contractors regarding waste and it may also be useful to contact your local council for advice. They will then give correct instruction as to whether this would be via mainsdrain/septic tank or sewage system.

Our pods require 52 amps for electric or 32 amps for gas

We understand how overwhelming your glamping idea can be and we know you have 101 questions that you would love to know the answers to but have no idea where to get them from. Our Feasibility Study was created to answer every one of these questions.

So many people come to us with questions relating to their glamping vision that we now offer a bespoke product, tailored to your location and concept. This gives you the tools to decide if a glamping site on your land is a good idea or not. Please get in touch with us for details on price.

If you are successful in gaining planning permission and were to purchase a pod from us, we would deduct the price of the study from the price of the pod.

Deciding to purchase your very own pod is a very exciting time for our customers, and we love to have you involved.

We welcome customers to our workshop (arranged by appointment) which gives you an opportunity to see some of our products being manufactured as well as discuss some of the more exciting parts of having your very own pod, deciding on finishing touches, such as work tops, colours and so forth.

During our time manufacturing pods we have seen many success stories and have a deep understanding of what works. If you are new to the industry we are happy to point you in the direction of these successes.

We are also happy to advertise your pods and site on our popular social media pages which have built up a dedicated following from people who run pod sites, are potential future pod owners and those who enjoy visiting and staying in pods across the UK.

We would ask that a 20% deposit of your overall balance is paid at the point of ordering and the remaining balance is paid three weeks prior to delivery. Please respect the amount of time and cost of materials that is put into manufacturing your pod.

We put 100% effort into designing your pod and therefore, unfortunately any cancellation of orders or non-payment of balance will result in your deposit being lost.

We strongly advise customers not to take bookings on their pods until we have at least confirmed we have started the manufacturing process. This is to avoid disappointment if there is a delay in getting materials etc.

Delivery of our pods is via our preferred transport provider and the cost is dependent on postcode. Please note that some of our larger sized pods come in two parts and would therefore require joining on site.

Investing in the purchase of a camping pod is a significant decision. If you would like to explore finance options for your pods, please let a member of the team know when discussing your order and we can assist you in the application process.

If you require, we are able to provide amenity blocks for campsites and other permanent outdoor facilities. Our amenity blocks can include washing and shower blocks, toilet and laundry facilities. Please mention this during ordering, or ask a member of our team for further information.
